Before her retirement in 2015, Sally traveled the globe with notebook and camera to destinations are diverse as diverse as Swaziland and Nova Scotia. Her company, Sally Moore/Words & Images, produced six guide books, numerous newspaper and magazine articles, a travel blog, and a Santa Fe app for SutroMedia.

She was a member of the Society of Journalists & Authors, American Society of Media Photographers, and a 30-year member of the Society of American Travel Writers.

Currently living in Albuquerque, New Mexico, she is an avid collector of folk art of all sorts but specializes in Southwest Native American and Colonial Hispanic material.
